Toonie Awards Photo Gallery 2005
The
following images of the Toonie Awards 2005 were taken by Scooter and Ferret creator Georgia Ball.

This was one of Cartoonists Northwest's
most successful Art Auctions.
Members donated original artwork, books,
and goofy trinkets for silent bidding. Scott
Ball took over the event from Vic
Stredicke, tall shoes to
fill after so many years managing the auction.
A large portion of the items found a new
home, and members enjoyed ribbing the winning
bidders as the names were announced at the
end of the evening.

Scott Alan in 2005 is
beginning his second term as CNW
President. In honor of the evening
he arrived dolled out in top hat and vest,
making some members remark on a resemblance
to Ben Franklin or possibly the Penguin.
Scott took all ribbing in stride and was
an upbeat master of ceremonies. He's a freelance
cartoonist and creator of the independent
comic Mr.
Man.
